Welcome to E3 Math,

One of the most consistent findings in education research is also one of the most uncomfortable: the learners who most need excellent math instruction are, more often than not, the ones least likely to get it. Years of teaching mathematics have shown me why that gap persists — it's part of why I'm building toward doctoral research on this question, set to begin in 2027. The gap is produced by how math teachers are prepared, and by whether they're actually supported once they're standing in front of learners. E3 Math exists to change both.

Most professional development teaches the floor of a standard: how to cover it, check it off, run a lesson that looks fine on a walkthrough form. It rarely reaches the ceiling — the level of thinking a standard was actually written to produce, and the level of work learners are capable of when a teacher is coached to get them there. I've tested this directly in my own practice, running short, daily improvement cycles with teachers instead of one-off workshops, and watching how quickly instruction changes when coaching is specific, happens inside real lessons, and is judged by the work learners actually produce rather than by hours logged in a training room.

That's what E3 Math does. We provide high-quality math content — daily lessons, observer guides, and interactive apps — and we train math educators to teach it at the ceiling, week over week. Professional growth here isn't an afterthought; it's the work.
